On Friday, 21 June 2019, 29 lower school students attended the public speaking workshop at the Margaret River Education Campus. The workshop was facilitated through the student leadership program and was partially funded by the School’s Enrichment & Engagement initiative. The school was fortunate to have acclaimed guest presenter, Juliet Park, former Rostrum Speaking organiser, sharing her rich experiences and expertise. Juliet explained the key concepts of Matter, Method and Manner and each student was asked to write an impromptu speech. Speeches were then presented and critiqued in the afternoon.
